Kenya is a leading producer of flowers with a productive area of a thousand hectares. Five hectares are for Hilverda Kenya, a cooperative of HilverdaKooij and James Finlay (Kenya) Ltd. Under ideal climatic conditions, Hilverda Kenya produces millions of carnation cuttings per year in the Kericho district, all of which are destined for worldwide export. Other activities include the production of starting material for pot Alstroemeria Inticancha®, pot Antirrhinum Florini® and pot carnation Sunflor®.
