Colombia

Colombia is the second largest flower producing country in the world and especially big in carnations. It is an interesting operating base for HilverdaKooij's activities in Latin America. HilverdaKooij has its own company in Colombia called Suata Plants S.A., which has production facilities for the propagation of carnation cuttings. With regard to the propagation of starting material for the production of carnations, the company is the current market leader in Colombia. Suata Plants also acts as an agent for other HilverdaKooij products.
